Knowing When the Blackjack Dealer Will Bust

Playing the game of blackjack is not mainly reliant on luck and chances as compared to majority of the casino games. The game of blackjack is played with an optimized chance of a winning streak once the player has learned to skillfully play the game with a good strategy.

Many casino players may wonder how a blackjack player can twist the turn of events to make the odds of the game more favorable to them when they are blind with the dealer's hole card and playing without the slightest idea on what will be the next card from the shoe.

This is where the basic blackjack strategy comes in. Despite playing the game of blackjack with incomplete information about the dealer's hole card and without having the idea on what card on the shoe there will be the basic blackjack strategy can help a casino player to play using only the available information that is currently known to them.

Based from computer simulation it has been proven that the blackjack game is based on mathematical probability which when played correctly with an appropriate hand decision can significantly reduce the house edge of the casino in blackjack.

With the two cards of the player and the dealer's up card known to the player, they can begin a good calculation of the mathematical probability on their hands based from these known facts while playing their hands basing from the bust percentage of the dealer's up card.

It can be worthily noted that a blackjack dealer can more likely bust when playing certain cards. The worst cards that can increase the percentage rate of the dealer to bust are highest when they have an up card of 5 then 6 and followed by 4. The percentage rate on busting by the dealer is about 42% when playing for an up card of either 5 or 6 while there is about 40% chance of busting with an up card of 4.

Many blackjack players always find the opportunity to double down often once the blackjack dealer holds up cards of these values. This can increase the pot for a blackjack player to win knowing that there is a higher chance for the dealer to bust at this point.

On the other hand, dealers have the least chance to bust when playing for an up card of Ace, 9 and 10. Dealers have better advantage against the players with these cards and in addition to the fact that the player will have to act first before the dealer does.

Knowing the chances when the dealer will bust can give a blackjack player helpful information from which to base their hand decision. Every blackjack player can find the bust percentage of the dealer helpful for better odds of making appropriate decisions while playing blackjack.
